Closing the STEM Gender Gap with Girls Who Code

Wed. November 29, 2023 | 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm CST

Tomorrow’s computer science engineers and innovators are in your classroom today. With coding tutorials and activities from Girls Who Code, you can help them learn CS basics while teaching them to value an inclusive STEM culture, both in school and in a future career.

Join us to learn more about Girls Who Code, including how their free CS programming can help support girls and non-binary students in your class toward positive, long-term outcomes in STEM fields. We’ll also explore how these same resources can help foster social-emotional development, both for these students and for all students passionate about becoming tomorrow’s scientific problem-solvers.

Illinois educators who register here and attend live through Streamyard can earn 1.0 PD credit.
