The LTC staff:
- Lead technology initiatives and services that increase access and meaningful use of technology in all K12 Illinois schools.
- Develop and support innovative, relevant, impactful professional learning opportunities and capacity-building programs.
- Promote research-based uses of technology that enhance learning outcomes for all students.

Salaries are regionally competitive. Employees are enrolled in either TRS or IMRF pension systems, and the LTC pays 100% of the employee’s contribution to TRS and 96% to IMRF.
