Be Connected: Illinois Century Network (ICN)
Wed. November 29, 2023 | 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm CST
Established in 1997, the Illinois Century Network (ICN) is a high speed broadband network serving K-12 schools, higher education, public libraries, and other government entities. ICN provides reliable internet connectivity for millions of users statewide, as well as access to cloud-based content, disaster recovery services, data, video, and audio communications.
ICN can help provide access to high quality, affordable internet across your entire school district, no matter where you’re located. Join us on this week’s Be Connected to learn more about ICN, including how membership in its K-12 Broadband Network provides access to last mile broadband connections & router, WAN circuits, filtering, DDoS protection, and network monitoring – all at no charge.

Be Connected is a weekly networking series from the LTC focused on facilitating open discussions about pertinent topics within Illinois’ technology and IT community. Hosted by the LTC’s Jared Lynn, Eric Muckensturm, and Duane Shaffer, each session will focus on a specific topic and provide space for participants to ask and answer questions in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Each week will feature a different core topic and a fresh opportunity to connect with your peers. So, be sure to check the LTC events calendar often so that you can join in the discussion and Be Connected.
