We’ll provide details of what we dealt with in the fall of 2022 when we were hit with a ransomware attack. We’ll talk about the day of the attack, the days following the attack, discuss the vulnerabilities that lead to the attack and what changes we’ve made since the attack.

Jim Manley has over 30 years experience working in Technology, 20 of those years working for Public Schools. Particularly, Jim has worked for several school districts in Illinois, modernizing operations, updating technology and building high functioning teams.

Nick Haws has been a technician and system administrator in a K-12 environment for nearly a decade. During that time, he has gained expertise in a wide variety of education and business systems. His most recent projects include implementing an inventory and ticketing system as well as helping to launch the District’s 1 to 1 initiatives. He was recently named Best Tech Guy 2022 by Mrs. Bork’s 4th grade class.

Paul Wilson started in the education tech world in 2015 after finishing 8 years in the active-duty Army. Paul administrates a wide range of systems from K-12 to military. Aside from normal day to day operations, he spends time coaching kids in programming, soldering, and other tech related skills.
