April Mardock is the CISO for WSIPC, where she supports cybersecurity across more than 750,000 users and hundreds of K-12 organizations.
Featured in Tribe of Hackers Blue Team, April holds a Master’s in IT, a CISSP, a CCRE, and is known for cutting through the technical noise to deliver practical, actionable security guidance. Her 15+ years with Seattle Public Schools ground her understanding of every phase of K-12 technology infrastructure.
With decades of K-12 cybersecurity experience, she has contributed to several nationally-recognized resources, including a K12 SIX cybersecurity self-assessment and a K12 SIX incident response plan.
