Snap into STEM with Tactile Circuits & Snap Circuits

Mon. August 5, 2024 | 10:00 am - 12:30 pm CDT

Teaching electric circuitry can be a snap!

Come learn how at the Champaign Community Fab Lab, where we’ll explore building tactile circuitry using Snap Circuits. These colorful, user-friendly kits allow students to explore electricity, circuitry, and wiring without the hassle of soldering or jumper cables.

During this session, we’ll start with the basics of using Snap Circuits before moving onto activities for young learners as well as strategies for using Snap Circuits with students who are blind or visually impaired. After, we’ll dig into more advanced projects and examine how you can incorporate programming concepts into your Snap Circuit activities using a Snapduino.

Join us to experience hands-on STEM learning that’s engaging and creative in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms!
