AI Literacy Lessons with Common Sense Education

Tue. January 30, 2024 | 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm CST

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the world we live in. From using generative AI for schoolwork to dealing with misinformation and befriending AI chatbots, students have a lot to consider when it comes to this ever-evolving technology.

How can educators prepare students to live and work with AI? Common Sense Education’s collection of AI literacy lessons are a great place to start. In 20 minutes or less, each lesson provides an introduction to how AI work, as well as AI’s potential benefits, risks, and other social and ethical impacts. Each lesson also encourages students to think critically about their own AI usage so that they can grow into responsible users

Join us for a live demo of these lessons, plus more tips on how you can foster conversations around ethical AI usage in your classroom.
