AI as your Teaching Superpower

Tue. September 24, 2024 | 8:30 am - 11:30 am CDT

Which superpower would you choose – super strength, invisibility, or…AI-powered teaching?

Join us to discover the power of artificial intelligence and how it can enhance your daily teaching workflow. You don’t need a cape or mask to unlock these powers, either – all you need is some curiosity to unlock strategies for automating repetitive tasks and developing engaging teaching content.

Along the way, we’ll also explore top concerns concerning AI use in education, with a focus on user privacy. Participants will build a solid foundation of understanding surrounding AI ethics and walk away prepared to participate productively in AI use policy discussions.

Workshop participants will learn how to:

-Automate educator tasks and become efficient enough to reclaim valuable teaching time.
-Adapt course content, create resources, and tailor instruction to individual student needs.
-Explore educator-focused AI tutors and interactive content to create a more engaging learning environment.
-Discuss safe and ethical use and policies of AI in education.
-AI systems work and how to stay on top of the latest developments.

Participants must bring an internet-connected device (laptop or tablet) to participate in this workshop fully.
