Google Slides Basics

Looking for another fantastic Google tool to add to your repertoire? Google Slides is a must-know for educators at all grade levels and in all content areas.

At a basic level, Google Slides is a tool for creating slide shows and informative presentations, similar to Microsoft Powerpoint. Beyond the basics, Google Slides can be harnessed to create many kinds of creative and visually appealing content that go beyond a simple slideshow.

In this course, you’ll learn to use Google Slides in a variety of situations and to accomplish a variety of education-focused goals. Throughout the course, you’ll follow simple video tutorials that guide you step-by-step through the creation process. Pause and rewind when you need more practice or extra time to meet your busy schedule. By the end, you’ll know how to create a robust, engaging slide deck and before long, you’ll be dreaming of new ways to put this versatile app to use in your classroom.

This course will help learners master the following skills:

* Understand what is a Google Slide presentation.
* Create a Google Slides deck from a blank start.
* Add, edit and modify a theme, text, and images on a slide presentation.
* Collaborate, present, and share a Google Slides presentation.
