Are you repairing Chromebooks in house?  Are you checking them out to students?  Are charging students for repairs on a case-by-case basis?  Yes, you can track all these things with Google Sheets… but check out this affordable application.

Litchfield CUSD #12 implemented a tool called One2One Manager developed by Learn21 in the Spring of 2023.

The app collects data from your Student Management System (Skyward in our case), and syncs with your Google Apps for Education domain.  Staff and Student data come from the SIS.  Device info come from Google.  As a backup, you can also pull users from Google (for those folks that aren’t in the SIS).

The app has a full inventory management to check in/out devices to users.  It has Incident Management to track damages/repairs on devices, charge back to the user, and built-in assignment of loaner devices while the unit is in the repair queue.  There are also several Repair features, as well.  You can force a Powerwash from within One2One, the system will automatically move the device to the appropriate Google OU depending on who it is assigned to, and you can view the last users to login to the device.

In this session, we will give an overview of the application, discuss how we are using it in Litchfield and discuss our plans for next year as we expand our student repair center.
