1:1 devices are now in almost every classroom and some were rolled out quickly due to “circumstances.” With those devices came a whole new world of possibilities, for both learning and distraction. Classroom management is NOT something that comes easily for every teacher, especially those that completed their early teaching during COVID. Teachers work hard to create lesson plans that will engage and excite students, having them think, create, and collaborate. But what happens when the students are not interested, and instead use their device for “evil.”

This session will look at a truly simple way to help teachers think through the lesson and what it will look like in their classroom, with their students. What is it they are truly hoping to see when they deliver that lesson? This proven, yet slightly modified, classroom management strategy will help any teacher get what they are wanting out of their lesson plan!!
