Formative assessments are powerful learning checkpoints for teachers and students. Formative assessments should be part of the learning process and can be enhanced with a variety of different #EdTech resources. This session will introduce attendees to a variety of different categories of formative assessment tools. These tools will connect to a range of different age groups and learning styles. Time will be given to explore and experiment with the support of the facilitator and interactive resources for formative assessment tools.

I am a Science Teacher & Instructional Technology Coordinator in the Indian Prairie School District. I have taught Science & Social Studies at the middle school and high school level for more than 20 years. My focus as a learner is strongly connected to the 4Cs, Instructional Technology, G Suite for Education, Formative Assessment, and Student-Centered Learning. Helping students and teachers become lifelong learners is my greatest passion.
