It’s time to get physical with coding!
In this interactive session, educators will learn how to to connect digital code with physical reality by exploring Code.org’s Maker course and the micro:bit.
Participants will start with coding fundamentals— including loops, conditional logic, and event handling— then explore how to put those basics into action to power hardware and create tangible applications.
This workshop also demonstrates moving students beyond the screen, deepening their understanding of software-hardware interaction through physical computing. Teachers will gain a high-engagement curriculum that transforms abstract computer science concepts into concrete, tactile learning experiences.
