E-Rate Update: FCC NPRM Roundtable Discussion

The FCC is seeking feedback on proposed changes to the federal E-Rate program.
Their June 26 NPRM (Notice for Proposed Rule Making) asks for input on a wide range of E-Rate-related topics including:
- If the program is/has served it’s purpose and should be sunset
- Student protections (screen time limits and CIPA)
- Proposed new rules around the use of consultants, consortiums, and Managed Internal Broadband Services
