Partnering with K12TechPro to Elevate Illinois’ K-12 Technology Support System
CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS – The Learning Technology Center (LTC) has teamed up with K12TechPro, an online community for K-12 technology professionals, to enhance technology support services for school districts across Illinois. This collaboration offers access to K12TechPro’s comprehensive suite of resources and a direct connection to their national network of school IT professionals.
The LTC will integrate K12TechPro’s robust platform into our existing services, providing Illinois educators and IT professionals with access to more real-time support, expert insights, and dynamic message boards and chat spaces.
“At the LTC, we are committed to empowering educators and administrators by bridging the gap between technology and education,” said Duane Shaffer, Director of Technology Services. “This partnership lets us expand the support we offer Illinois districts, especially in critical areas like cybersecurity, digital learning, and infrastructure.”
“We are excited about the partnership with the LTC,” said Chris Warden of K12TechPro. “Both organizations are trying to help K-12 technology departments stay up-to-date on the latest issues, trends, and best practices in educational technology. We believe this partnership will help with that big picture goal.”
Together, the LTC and K12TechPro will work collaboratively to provide Illinois school districts with the tools, knowledge and community support necessary to build stronger, smarter K-12 tech communities.
