Microsoft and AI

Tue. June 9, 2026 | 9:00 am - 2:00 pm CDT

As AI becomes more integrated into education, many roles evolve. Educators and administrators increasingly guide, evaluate, and refine AI supported processes—while continuing to apply professional expertise and judgment.

Learn how to use free Microsoft AI tools to make your life easier. We will also dive into Reading Progress and Coach. Reading Coach is a free tool that provides personalized, engaging, consistent and independent reading fluency practice. Reading Coach uses artificial intelligence and built-in fluency detection to personalize reading content with the words learners struggle with, while ensuring a safe and trusted experience. Reading Coach is available for use in the classroom or at home with a Microsoft account.

We will also look at other AI-powered tools that boost student learning in Learning Accelerators. You will engage in interactive discussions, fostering collaboration and idea exchange among peers.

All attendees must bring a laptop to fully participate.
