Custom PD for Districts and Schools

The State Leader in Edtech Professional Learning

A core part of the Learning Technology Center’s mission is to deliver forward-thinking, impactful professional learning that empowers Illinois school districts, schools, and educators to effectively integrate and lead with technology.

During the 2024–25 school year, our regional service teams and subject matter experts facilitated over 800 professional learning events, reaching 28,000 participants across the state. These offerings ranged from large-scale countywide trainings to small, customized sessions for district and school-level teams.

Every LTC professional learning experience is designed to be flexible and responsive to local needs. Whether delivered in person, online, or hybrid, our events are led by experienced facilitators with deep expertise in educational technology—including our own LTC staff, as well as respected local and national practitioners.

As a program of the Illinois State Board of Education, the LTC is committed to equitable access. Nearly all of our professional learning opportunities are provided at no cost or low cost to Illinois public schools and educators.
