Tech Treks: Student Rooms in MagicSchool
Tue. January 13, 2026 | 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm CST
Ready to help your students step confidently into the world of AI but not quite sure where the trail begins?
This session is your trailhead! We’ll start by grounding you in essential strategies for teaching ethical, responsible AI us, ensuring your students build the right habits from the very first step.
From there, you’ll trek into the MagicStudent platform, a student-safe AI environment from MagicSchool that lets you guide exploration while giving learners room to grow.
In this hands-on Tech Trek, your trail guide will walk you through creating personalized Student Rooms, customizing the tools students can access, and using built-in oversight features like prompt history to spark meaningful conversations about digital responsibility.
💡 What You’ll Experience:
-
-
- Understand the importance of AI literacy and responsible use
- Learn to create “Student Rooms” and manage student access to facilitate safe exploration
- Learn to customize specific AI tools, such as the Chatbot Builder or Research Assistant, to use in your Student Rooms
- Review necessary policy checks, such as SOPPA compliance and obtaining parent permission
-
This isn’t your typical sit-and-watch session. You’ll leave with a ready-to-launch Student Room that you’ve created specifically with your students in mind.
We recommend using two devices for this webinar: one to view the session and another (like a laptop or tablet) to explore MagicSchool as you go.
