In this hands-on Tech Trek, your trail guide will show you how to build custom, high-impact lessons from the ground up by exploring Nearpod’s full range of content and activity types. You’ll learn how to intentionally layer interactive features—like VR Field Trips, PhET Simulations, Time to Climb, and Drag & Drop—so every slide supports a clear learning goal and keeps students actively engaged.

💡 What You’ll Experience:

• Explore Nearpod’s 20+ content and activity types and learn when (and why) to use each one
• Build a multi-modal lesson from scratch that blends instruction, interaction, and formative assessment
• Design engaging learning moments using tools like VR Field Trips, simulations, and game-based activities
• Apply best practices for lesson pacing and real-time data collection to inform instructional decisions on the fly
