Be Connected: Physical Network Security
Wed. April 29, 2026 | 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm CDT
The strongest firewall is useless if an unauthorized person can gain physical access to your server room or a network jack in an unsupervised hallway.
That’s why physical network security remains as important as any cybersecurity framework. Join us on Be Connected this week as we discuss highlight several physical security areas for improvement, including “locking and logging” IDF closets, the risks of exposed patch panels, and the critical importance of disabling unused wall ports in common areas.
Tune in to share your best practices for hardware security and managing the “who has a key” headache.
