Delivering PD doesn’t have to bring tears to your eyes! This session will focus on how purposeful Professional Development for our PreK-12 district has helped us move to a destination district. The session will go through our hits and strikeouts as well as how our continual focus on student achievement drives what we do. It will include what we do from the beginning of the year in our mentor/protege program, to our continued support for classroom educators through online, face-to-face, and personalized learning. Batter up, let’s hit one out of the park!
By attending this session, attendees will walk away with tips and ideas to deliver Professional Development in a way that will immediately help educators in their district.
This session will feature a slideshow on ways to deliver professional development in ways educators find appealing. Embedded in the slideshow will be time for some audience participation on particular subjects. Participation from the audience will include time for Q&A.
