The Best Defense… Helping Blue Teams Become More Red
2:00 pm - 2:50 pm
Room: Virtual
Under the current cyber defense paradigm, threat actors are given the freedom to decide the field of battle. They act, and cyber defenders are forced to react using the standard tools for detection, containment, and remediation. With this in mind, there is value in training defenders to think like attackers and have the attacker mentality blend into their defensive activities. This process, known as “purple teaming”, represents a real potential for affecting the balance of power in the cyber space towards the defense.
