This session will show participants how to utilize technology to incorporate problem based learning.This is important to educators because PBL allows students to learn to work successfully with their peers, find creative ways to solve problems, and to get comfortable using a variety of technology throughout the process. Students are strategically grouped and each group is provided with a basic problem where they choose how best to solve.

Matt is in his 16th year in ed. 11th year in Cary, 6 as a gifted enrichment 4-8 teacher. Specifically at CJH he uses problem based learning with a technology focus whenever possible. When not planning for school, Matt is following the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs!

Amber is an instructional technology coach in Cary, and prior to that was a language arts teacher. She loves integrating technology into lessons and working with all teachers and students! When not teaching, Amber loves reading and crafting!
