Once Upon a STEAM…

Date/Time
November 3
1:00 PM - 1:50 PM
Strand
Leadership/Professional Development
Audience
Administrators, Instructional Coaches, Teachers

This session will explore to how to plan and implement an articulated STEAM curriculum in a school or district. We hear a lot about STEAM and Makerspaces but for educators attempting to get something off the ground, it can be difficult to know exactly where to start and what to focus on. Attendees will leave the session with ideas on how to go about creating a curriculum and developing a proposal to their district leadership to start the process of implementing a STEAM program. The session will be primarily lecture, but will have opportunities for the audience to give feedback and ask questions.
