In this session we will take a look at the 100% free Microsoft Local Administrator Password Solutions (LAPS) software. LAPS allows you to have a unique local administrator password for every Windows machine in your environment and to easily rotate them automatically.

Why not just have one administrator password for all of the workstations? Well, that’s what the hackers are banking on, if they get Administrator credentials on one machine, they now have them for all. Let’s make their job tougher by not reusing an administrator-level password. Even more so, because it does it automatically through Active Directory, the password can be changed on a regular basis.
