Newsela’s curated collections of content support these efforts in a cross-curricular manner, supporting teachers to guide students in becoming informed citizens, critical thinkers and a force for good.

During the sessions, you’ll hear from Illinois instructional coaches on how and where they include Media Literacy in their curriculum. They will also share how Newsela is being used to promote media literacy and help students make informed decisions.
