The iPad is a wonderful tool for learning and interacting with content. It’s even better for creation! This session will focus on creating with the iPad for all ages. We will explore the camera and photo apps, annotations, iMovie and Garageband. We will also dive into Apple’s Everyone Can Create guides as well as creative resources provided in the Apple Teacher Learning Center. Come ready to create, share and explore with the iPad!

Karen Ladendorf is currently the Director for Innovation and Technology for CCSD 93 in Carol Stream, IL. CCSD 93 is a 1:1 Apple district utilizing both iPads and MacBooks with students as well as SMART interactive panels. Prior to this position, Karen provided professional development on curriculum, standards, instruction and technology integration to all teachers PreK-8. Karen is currently completing her doctorate in instructional technology from Northern Illinois University with a focus on distance learning at the elementary level.
