Apple devices are amazing to use with students and for your own professional growth. It can be overwhelming to figure out ways to use the devices to their fullest potential. Apple has solved this issue by providing the free Apple Teacher Learning Center. This session will dive into all of the free features of Apple Teacher Learning Center including foundational skills and resources, Apple Teacher Certification, templates, and lesson ideas. We will focus on creating with Apple devices using native Apple apps. This will eliminate the need to explore 3rd-party apps that may not be SOPPA aligned. Leave with new ideas, resources, and ready to dive deeper into Apple!

Karen Ladendorf is currently the Director for Innovation and Technology for CCSD 93 in Carol Stream, IL. CCSD 93 is a 1:1 Apple district utilizing both iPads and MacBooks with students as well as SMART interactive panels. Prior to this position, Karen provided professional development on curriculum, standards, instruction and technology integration to all teachers PreK-8. Karen is currently completing her doctorate in instructional technology from Northern Illinois University with a focus on distance learning at the elementary level.
