Mentorship from a Google Recommended Partner
The Google for Education Certified Coach program empowers instructional coaches to drive impactful technology use in schools. With Google’s tailored curriculum and research-based 5-step coaching model, coaches are equipped with coaching strategies, guidance, and a coaching framework to be an effective coach.
Coaches and admins can complete the access to the curriculum for free or work with the LTC, a Google-recommended coaching partner that provides paid mentorship services for coaches and their administrators to deepen program impact. The LTC’s Google Certified Coach Mentor Program provides scaffolded support and engaging learning opportunities to help instructional coaches hone their practice and work even more effectively with educators.
The LTC’s Google Certified Coach Mentor Program
Our team of certified coaches provides mentorship and professional learning opportunities to coaches and their administrators — as well as frameworks to help ensure coaching is aligned with school goals and tools to help measure impact.
January 2023 – June 2023
6-Month Program ($150)
Kickoff event. Participants join a
1-hour online kick-off meeting to introduce the certification process, resources, and supports.
Support throughout the self-paced curriculum in a closed environment.
Membership in PLC. Participants are invited to join and learn from a private online professional learning community of other instructional technology coaches.
Office Hours. 6 “office hour” opportunities (synchronous). Participants are invited to attend online office hours to speak with LTC Google Certified Coaches who can help guide them through the program.
Up to 24 PD Hours. Quantity of PD hours earned reflects time spent engaging with the curriculum, personalized cohort materials, and portfolio construction.
January 2023 – August 2023
8-Month Program ($200)
Kickoff event. Participants join a 1-hour online kick-off meeting to introduce the certification process, resources, and supports.
Support throughout the self-paced curriculum in a closed environment.
Membership in PLC. Participants are invited to join and learn from a private online professional learning community of other instructional technology coaches.
Office Hours. 8 “office hour” opportunities (synchronous). Participants are invited to attend online office hours to speak with LTC Google Certified Coaches who can help guide them through the program.
Up to 28 PD Hours. Quantity of PD hours earned reflects time spent engaging with the curriculum, personalized cohort materials, preparation for Google Certified Educator exams, and portfolio construction.
Google Level 1 & Level 2 training and exam fees. Participants can join online Google Level 1 and Level 2 training hosted by the Learning Technology Center. Exam fees are included.
January 2023 – October 2023
10-Month Program ($250)
Kickoff event. Participants join a 1-hour online kick-off meeting to introduce the certification process, resources, and supports.
Support throughout the self-paced curriculum in a closed environment.
Membership in PLC. Participants are invited to join and learn from a private online professional learning community of other instructional technology coaches.
Office Hours. 10 “office hour” opportunities (synchronous). Participants are invited to attend online office hours to speak with LTC Google Certified Coaches who can help guide them through the program.
Up to 32 PD Hours. Quantity of PD hours earned reflects time spent engaging with the curriculum, personalized cohort materials, preparation for Google Certified Educator exams, an independent books study, and portfolio construction.
Google Level 1 & Level 2 training and exam fees. Participants can join online Google Level 1 and Level training hosted by the Learning Technology Center. Exam fees are included.
Book Study. We’ll be reading Courageous Edventures by Jennie Magiera. A copy of the book is included in the registration fee.
Private online session before submitting portfolio. During the private session, LTC Google Certified Coaches will review and provide feedback on the portfolio.
