We help teachers, IT staff, librarians, and administrators become comfortable with the technology that will engage and delight students. Empowering educators to make technology their ally in the classroom. The Learning Technology Center is a program of the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).

At the learning technology center, we help PK-12 school districts to:

  • Plan with funding resources, cooperative purchasing, technology coaching, and comprehensive professional development.
  • Adopt technology with device support, webinars, intensive educational programs, tailored to the needs of your district.
  • Evaluate new technology and how it might improve outcomes in the classroom and networking with like-minded professionals.

We provide services to support our districts with technical support, guidance, and resource identification on the topics of:

  • IT processes
  • IT management
  • STEAM learning
  • Broadband connectivity
  • Data security
  • Cybersecurity
  • Online student safety

Any personal information you provide to us, including and similar to your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of our organization except as noted below.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
