Sam believes in supporting civic institutions that make our communities and nation a more just, equitable, and peaceable place to live. That includes advocating for people and organizations committed to increasing access to quality education, civic engagement and voting, and addressing the needs of marginalized communities.
Sam is a proud Eagle Scout and graduate of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL, where he earned a BA in English and participated in the university’s renowned Education program.
