This session is a Console-first walk through the lifecycle of a Gemini for Education rollout: turning on Gemini as a Core Service by OU and group\, configuring age-based access for under-18 users\, layering NotebookLM and Gemini in the side panel of Workspace apps\, and auditing the data governance posture that travels with each. We’ll cover the difference between Gemini for Education (Standard) and the additional Gemini app entitlements in Education Plus\, how to manage allowlists and disable specific features for pilot groups\, and what shows up in audit logs once usage scales. You’ll leave with a deployment blueprint that protects district data while giving teachers and students a real\, supported AI experience.
