Tech Reset, Part 2: Google’s Secret Menu of Apps and Hacks

Tue. October 25, 2022 | 8:30 am - 3:00 pm CDT

Tech Reset is a series of sessions for new and seasoned teachers alike who are interested in deepening their technology integration tools but aren’t sure where to start. Let’s hit the reset button on your technology toolkit and start with some fresh, adaptable apps you can count on, no matter what topic or subject you’re teaching

In part 2 of this 3-part series, get ready to go beyond Docs, Slides, and Forms as we explore the wider Googleverse on a mission to infuse creativity and collaboration into your classroom. Along the way, we’ll discover what the cool kids know about Google’s Secret Menu of tools, including Arts & Culture, Applied Digital Skills, CS First, Experiments in Chrome, and more!

Then, let’s declutter your digital life by going back to the tools you use every day with a fresh focus to efficiency. Learn to better organize your Drive, streamline your Gmail experience, and save time with Keep, Calendar, and Chrome productivity hacks. You’ll walk away a Google super-user, with the ability to use the tools you love in ways you never thought possible.

All attendees must bring a laptop or Chromebook to fully participate in this session.
