Social Emotional Learning in Digital Life

Wed. May 10, 2023 | 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm CDT

Join Common Sense for an interactive workshop where we’ll explore activities that support the social and emotional well-being of students as they navigate the digital world’s challenges and opportunities.

Over the course of an hour, we’ll highlight lessons that focus on self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and social awareness. You’ll leave with resources that’ll help you lead meaningful conversations about being a good digital citizen and working through the challenges that come with living in an ever-connected world.

After this webinar, attendees will be able to answer:

  1.  What is social emotional learning (SEL)?
  2. How is SEL related to digital citizenship?
  3. What are the unique SEL challenges that students encounter in their digital lives and strategies to address them?

Illinois educators who attend live can earn 1.0 PD credit.
