Get your students ready for college and careers, as well as the AP Computer Science A exam, with CSA, Code.org‘s new curriculum geared toward helping high school students learn real-world applications for their computer science skills.
This brand new program kicks off with a five-day summer cohort and continues with year-long implementation support on a quarterly basis. These 2-hour synchronous meetings will give you the opportunity to reconnect with the facilitators, ask questions, and receive just-in-time support as you strive to implement the new curriculum.
Then, participants are invited back the following summer for a two-day workshop designed to help curriculum users assess their progress and make plans for even deeper levels of curricular integration.
This year’s CSA cohort for both Illinois and Missouri teachers will take place from June 12-16 in St. Louis, MO, at a location TBD. Through scholarships, first-time participants may be able to attend at little-to-no cost. Those that take part in the full program have the chance to earn up to 76 PD hours.
